As we get prepared for WitcherCon 2021, let’s check out some fantastic artwork depicting The Witcher ‘Wolf Pack’ family with a taste of Dragon Age running through it.

If you’re anything like me, you just can’t seem to get enough of The Witcher 3. From its intricate storylines, beefy side quests and quirky yet wonderfully fleshed-out characters, The Witcher 3 is an utter joy to play that entices players into its fantasy world by the thousands.

Many players who have finished the main stories and sidequests of The Witcher 3 move onto its DLC’s, Blood and Wine and Hearts of Stone, to continue being a part of its world. Thankfully, we have the impending WitcherCon to look forward to as well that will, once more, welcome fans from all walks of life to its doorstep to celebrate the game and the Netflix series.

To get things heated up and ready for the two-day event, we have this stunning piece of artwork that showcases The Witcher family to whet your appetite.

The Witcher Wolf Pack

Art director, concept artist and illustrator Ilya Salnikov from Haifa, Israel has designed a beautiful poster paying homage to the beloved Witcher series of books and games. As you can see, Geralt is standing in the middle whilst drawing his silver sword, young wolf cub Ciri is holding onto the While Wolf’s hand while Eskel and Lambert are at either side – guarding.

Naturally, you’re going to be wondering “But where is Vesemir?”. You couldn’t have a Wolf Pack without the real leader. If you look closely at the stained glass window behind, you’ll spot Vesemir embedded into the glass pane.

I’m not sure if it was intentional or not but there’s certainly a lot of Dragon Age Inquisition inspiration running through this particular piece. If you have played the game, you will remember the tarot cards and this certainly gives off the same type of artistic approach to its characters as well as a similar artstyle.

Don’t forget to check out the artist, Ilya Salnikov, over on ArtStation as there are so many other stunning pieces of artwork to look at.
