The Witcher’s Geralt and the amazing Mads Mikkelsen come together in one brilliant piece of art – what could be any more perfect?
Everyone knows who Mads is by now, the guy is everywhere. From portraying Clifford “Cliff” Unger in Death Stranding to Dr Hannibal Lecter in Hannibal, the Danish actor could just about play anyone.
When Netflix The Witcher was first introduced, many people thought that Mikkelsen would have made a perfect Geralt but, alas, Henry Cavill snagged the role and what a great job he’s done.

For those who still want to see the mighty Mikkelsen as the brave White Wolf, we have a nice surprise for you. An artist has constructed a jaw-dropping and hyper-realistic piece of art that has morphed Mad’s as Geralt of Rivia and we are so here for it.
Who is the artist behind the art?
The artist is Wonki Cho, a 3D artist from Seoul, Korea. Although I couldn’t find any other images of their artwork on the internet, Cho is one talented artist. What I do have is their Artstation page and I’m hoping over time, Cho will add some more to it as, boy, do we need to see more.
Mads Mikkelsen as Geralt
I think what I love most about this piece is how realistic it truly is. Just check out Mad’s silvery grey hair blowing in the wind as the sunlight bounces of his face and armour.
It certainly doesn’t look like art, it looks unbelievably real, so I’m not sure what kind of magic illusion Cho has pulled off here but we want more of it.

Glancing under the image at comments on Reddit, fans are in love with Mad’s as Geralt and many wishing that this was the case in Netflix’s The Witcher series. One fan said:
“I feel like Mads Mikkelsen could capture game Geralt better appearance and acting-wise. Cavil looks too much like a bodybuilder pretty boy to be Geralt. I also think Mads could deliver the dry Geralt attitude better”
