Developer CD Projekt Red revealed last year that The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt would be eventually receive HDR support on PS4 Pro. After a few months, fans were anxiously wondering when this patch would arrive, so Community Lead Marcin Momot took to Twitter and confirmed that the patch was still in development. Today, this update finally arrived.

The release of this update was confirmed via the game’s official website, which also lists the short patch notes. In addition to the promised HDR support, this new patch for The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt also brings stability and optimization improvements, fixes some bugs within the game’s localization and even improves the visuals a bit. According to CD Projekt Red, those performance fixes were based on feedback received from players since the game’s launch.

While these enhancements aren’t as great as what the Xbox One X got, it’s still nice to know that those who picked up a PS4 Pro will finally be able to see some visible improvements in The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt.
