The Witcher 3s opening scene is one that players of the game won’t forget in a hurry. Not only do we see a bare Geralt slip into a nice, warm bath after a hard day monster hunting, but we also see a very naked Yennefer as she plays one of her many tricks on the besotted White Wolf. I’m not so sure that you’d get the same kind of…details…if The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt came out back in the day of the Playstation one but that doesn’t mean someone can’t try to recreate it with an added ’90s comedic edge. Check out YouTuber Lundbjörk as they delve into the bathtub scene for his reimagined PS1 scene involving Geralt and the sorceress, Yennefer.

This isn’t Youtuber and developer Anders Lundbjörk first time recreating a CD Projekt Red title. You may remember seeing his other video of Cyberpunk 2077 designed into a PS1-style demake of the game that was a hilarious hot mess. It even included all the bugs and even Johnny Silverhand with a very long neck. This time, however, Lundbjörk takes on The Witcher 3 but has redesigned it into the classic graphics of the PS1. What makes this short video entertaining is that we see Geralt take out a random board for a game of Gwent. With Yennefer becoming annoyed at Geralt stating that Triss is his waifu, she summons him naked into a lake with the title “Quest Completed! The Last Simp”.

I’m fairly sure I laughed for a good five minutes at this video and you can check it out for yourself, below. It’s bound to clear those Monday blues.
