While it released over three years ago, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has still left an incredible impact on Nintendo fans worldwide. With its stunning open-world, Breath of the Wild has easily been considered among the best games released in this generation, and inspired plenty of fan creations. Recently, that includes an amazing illustrated poster that calls back to the works of Studio Ghibli and Hayao Miyazaki.

Illustrator Jo (@BigSkyCastle on Twitter) shared her illustrated fan art poster for The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild that combines the game with the style and tone of Studio Ghibli films. Given that the game itself often feels like one of Miyazaki’s films, it’s no surprise that the combination happens to work extremely well and makes for an impressive piece of artwork.

You can check out the full illustrations of the Breath of the Wild poster below, and you can also purchase a print of her poster on Inprnt:

Alongside this fan art poster, numerous other impressive fan art creations inspired by Breath of the Wild (and Zelda itself) have made their way online since its release. Recently we’ve seen some Zelda creations such as these 3D-printed pots from the series, along with an unofficial cookbook that brings many of the series’ iconic recipes and foods to life. You can also check out this Game Boy Color-esque demake of Breath of the Wild if you want to relive the 2D gaming days.

At the moment, the next installment for the series will presumably be the upcoming sequel to Breath of the Wild, which was first revealed last year. However, since then we haven’t heard much more about the Breath of the Wild follow-up other than that it will come to Nintendo Switch sometime in the future, but hopefully we won’t have to wait too much longer to hear more about it.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild is available now on Nintendo Switch and Wii U.
