If you’ve been a fan of the PC indie game The First Tree and you’ve been wondering if you’d ever be able to play it on other consoles, then wonder no more. Today, developer David Wehle announced that he has partnered with DO Games to produce ports of the titles on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.

For those that don’t know, The First Tree tells two different stories of a fox trying to find his family and a boy trying to find his father. While the game is short, as it progresses, the fox finds clues, artifacts, and more about the boy’s life.

As of the time of this writing, a release date for the console versions of the game have not yet been revealed, however, both David Wehle and DO Games hope to have it out sometime in late 2018. A price for the console version also has not been settled, however, the PC edition currently costs $7.99, so expect a similar price when it launches.

The First Tree was originally released on September 14, 2017, and is available on PC and Mac.
