Throughout the years, one of NBA 2K19’s flagship modes has been the MyCareer mode where you can create your own player and go throughout your own NBA career. Now, you will be able to play the Prelude – the first chapter of this year’s MyCareer mode.

This years version will feature performances from some big name actors including Anthony Mackie, Michael Rapaport, and even Haley Joel Osment for some reason.

The Prelude is taking a little different direction compared to past NBA 2K games and will start you off developing your skills in the Chinese Basketball League rather than taking the normal college to the NBA route. After honing your skills overseas, you will be able to play in the G League (The NBA developmental league) where you will have the opportunity to ear your spot on an NBA roster.

On top of the that, players who download the first chapter will also be able to play the first chapter of “The Way Back” for free.

NBA 2K19 will be available on September 11th for PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. You can preorder the game from Amazon here. Also, check out our interview with Ronnie “Ronnie2K” Singh and Gameplay Director Mike Wang.
