The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset Gets New Trailer Flaunting the Fertile Land

Yesterday, Maryland-based studio Bethesda Softworks released a new trailer for the forthcoming expansion for its MMORPG title The Elder Scrolls Online. The new two-minute long trailer pays homage to the upcoming expansions new setting, the high-yielding land of Summerset.

Located southwest of Tamriel, west of Valenwood, the Summerset Isles, while vibrant and colorful is the home to a dark force, which threatens to eliminate the High Elf Society. Additionally, The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset will mark the first time players will return to the fertile land since 1994’s The Elder Scrolls: Arena. 

Newcomers can explore the dense forest, tropical lagoons, and ancient coral caves, according to Bethesda, the Summerset expansion will feature a zone larger than any of the expansions before it. Several notable things players will be allowed to do in the upcoming expansion include seeking out the secret society of mages located on the island os Atraeum, the Psijic Order. Scale Summerset’s highest peak to the city of Cloudrest, and fend off hordes of enemies in a demanding trial with up to eleven other players.

The Elder Scrolls Online: Summerset is set to launch PC first on May 21 while the PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions will be available a few weeks later on June 5.
