After a long wait, The Elder Scrolls Online: Blackwood Chapter is close to its official release. Of course, Xbox One and PS4 users will have to wait one more week to experience the new content, but for PC/Mac and Stadia users, the ESO Blackwood is just a few hours away.
Developed by ZeniMax Online Studios and published by Bethesda Softworks, The Elder Scrolls is a massively multiplayer RPG (MMORPG) title. The game is available for Windows, Mac, PS4, Stadia, and Xbox One.
Players loved the Flames of Ambition chapter that was released back in March 2021. However, everyone is now looking forward to the release of the Blackwood chapter.

The Elder Scrolls Online – Blackwood Chapter
According to Bethesda, the upcoming ESO Blackwood update would continue the Gates of Oblivion adventure. Interestingly, you will get access to 30 hours of new story content and get a chance to explore colorful parts of Tamriel.
Besides that, here’s all the new content that will arrive with the new chapter:
- The new Blackwood zone
- A massive storyline that is a part of the Gates of Oblivion adventure
- The new Companions system
- A new 12-player Trial: Rockgrove
- New Oblivion Portals world events
- New delves, public dungeons, world bosses, and stand-alone quests
- Updates and quality-of-life (QOL) improvements
ESO Blackwood Release Date and Time
The ESO Blackwood Chapter would arrive for PC/Mac and Stadia players on Tuesday, June 1st, 2021. However, Xbox One and PS4 players will have to wait until June 8th to get the new chapter.
As of timing, the Blackwood Chapter upgrade will be available approximately around 12 PM EST.
