Apex Legends’ Valentine’s Day Rendezvous event that was due to go live yesterday has been postponed after Respawn Entertainment has had to delay the event. It’s not clear why the event has been delayed.

For those who may have read the news yesterday that Respawn Entertainment’s Battle Royale game Apex Legends was getting the Valentine’s Day Rendezvous event, you may have noticed nothing happened last night.

The update didn’t go live, but the official Twitter account confirmed that the team was aware that the event wasn’t showing up for players eager to jump into the return of the duos mode. Later on, it was confirmed that the mode would now be taking place on  February 12, which is today.

Players can expect to see an update from the team when the Valentine’s Day Rendezvous event goes live later today.

I imagine that the event’s details will be pushed forward a day. The official blog post’s headline has already been edited to confirm the event will start today and end on February 19. Originally, it was to start on February 11 and end on February 18.

The event cosmetics that will be available for purchase are no doubt being pushed, with the weapon skin and charm possibly being available for the next two days, and then the player banner and second charm being available for the last two days. Of course, it’s worth waiting on official confirmation.

Apex Legends is available for PS4, PC, and Xbox One and the event should be taking place later today when the game updates.
