Koei Tecmo released on Twitter a new trailer and new images of its upcoming Musou-style game Fire Emblem Warriors.
The trailer features female Robin from Fire Emblem Awakening, and shows her magical attacks in action.
We learn that tacticians can use a wide range of magic to attack enemies from afar, and depending on their skills, they can also use elemental attacks like fire, wind and lighting.
On top of the trailer, we get a screenshots of the level-up menu, with the mention that level-up screens and tutorials can be switched on and off within the game.
Last, but not least, we get to see some lovely reference artwork directly from the official setting book that will be included in the Japanese “Premium Box” edition. It will come with a whopping eighty pages of materials from the game’s development.
You can enjoy the trailer and images below, and if you want to see more of the Nintendo Switch version of the game (the 3DS version isn’t being shown all that much, for now), you can also watch a recent trailer showing Cordelia in action, a video showing the bond system, the same in screenshots, and read our hands-on preview from E3 2017.
Of course, you shouldn’t miss the latest batch of screenshots, that focuses on Robin herself, on top of Cordelia and the battle system.
The game will will launch on Nintendo Switch and on the 3DS family of systems on September 28th in Japan, in the west in the fall. At the moment no specific release date has been announced for North America and Europe.
