Since the game released in December 2018, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate has expanded on an already impressive roster of characters. Combining Nintendo characters from nearly every franchise imaginable with other third-party characters like Snake, Cloud, Sonic, and more, Ultimate has really earned its name with one of the biggest fighting game rosters around. This is continuing with the game’s second Fighters Pass, which officially revealed its first new fighter in the form of ARMS‘ Min Min.

In a video presentation from Masahiro Sakurai, the next DLC fighter for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was revealed to be Min Min from ARMS. It was previously announced that a representative from the fighting game–which released for the Switch in 2017–would be added to the game, with the presentation confirming the exact character that would join the roster from ARMS. The trailer revealed that Min Min will be added to the game next week on June 29, 2020 as part of Fighters Pass Vol. 2, or to purchase individually in a DLC pack for $5.99 including a new ARMS stage and many of the game’s music tracks.

As the video shows, Min Min will utilize ARMS‘ signature spring-based punch attacks to move around the battlefield and hit enemies from a distance. Players will also be able to utilize the angle of Min Min’s attacks in a unique way with the Joy-Con analog sticks, along with changing the ARMS on her hands to use different attacks. Sakurai also revealed in the video that ARMS producer Yosuke Kabuki specifically chose Min Min as the game’s representative for Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, but Ninjara was seemingly considered for the game by Sakurai.

The ARMS fighter marks the first new part of Super Smash Bros. Ultimate‘s Fighters Pass Vol. 2, which is set to introduce six new characters into the game overall as DLC. That now leaves five more characters left to be revealed for the rest of the Fighters Pass, so we’ll have to wait and see if any more fan favorites end up making the cut. Initially, Nintendo revealed that all of the Fighters Pass Vol. 2 characters would be released before the end of 2021, but Sakurai expressed the possibility that development could be impacted by the ongoing coronavirus outbreak.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate is available now exclusively for Nintendo Switch.
