While it’s a quite positive week across the board, the superstar is certainly Super Mario Odyssey. Not only it sold 462, 038 copies in a week, but it also propelled the Switch into one of its most successful weeks yet, selling 126, 701 units.

Interestingly, Super Mario Odyssey wasn’t as successful at launch as Splatoon 2, which retains the record for the best Japanese debut on Switch. Yet, Mario’s new adventure moved more consoles.

Ark: Survival Evolved also had a, perhaps unexpectedly, strong debut week, followed by solid sales for Shin Megami Tensei: Strange Journey Redux and Assassin’s Creed Origins.

Gran Turismo Sport dropped to 7th place, after spending its debut week at the top.
