Star Wars Battlefront II Servers to Be Updated Today, Fixes Performance, Matchmaking

Star Wars Battlefront II recently went through some gameplay updates. These updates typically revolve around certain aspects of the game, meaning after the gameplay tweaks were made, DICE moved on to fix server issues so that these changes can be enjoyed in a steady online experience.

DICE Producer Ali Hassoon confirmed on Twitter early this morning that server and back-end updates were going live today. These updates include general performance improvements made to the servers themselves. This should allow a better experience with loading into matches and finding said matches in the first place.  Those having issues with matchmaking in the past may now see those resolved.

The last gameplay update added a number of goodies, including the ability to play Blast Game Mode on Crait, Iden Versio’s TIE fighter, and new TIE fighter cards.

Despite the controversy surrounding Star Wars Battlefront II’s loot boxes, it still managed to get third place in the PlayStation Store’s  Top-Downloaded titles in December. To add to the mania of so many updates, even the original Star Wars: Battlefront II (2005) recently received an update this month for the first time in 12 years.

Star Wars Battlefront II is available now on PlayStation 4, PC, and Xbox One.
