With Halloween only a few short days away, it seems that horror-themed games are everywhere! Yesterday, Blue Wizard Digital’s Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle arrived on Nintendo Switch with a wave of blood-soaked comedy. Well, it seems that there’s still more brain-bending horror-themed puzzles to come from the studio as Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut is officially on its way to PS Vita.

In many ways Slayaway Camp is the spiritual predecessor to Friday the 13th: Killer Puzzle and mostly plays in the same vein. It requires players to track down and murder unsuspecting victims in a number of increasingly inventive and horrific ways by making their way through a grid-like level system.

Although this may sound like a harrowing experience, the edge is taken off the violence due to the game’s adorable art-style. Each character, including the player’s murderous psychopath Skullface, sports a simple and rather cute blocky design making them much less realistic and allowing for comedic value during the game’s various kill scenes.

The Butcher’s Cut of Slayaway Camp features the original core game in its entirety along with a ton of later released DLC expansions including My Gory Valentine, Monthly Murderers Series 1 & 2, Santa’s Slay, and more. This brings the number of available levels to above the 300 mark. There are also more than 60 killers to choose from.

Slayaway Camp: Butcher’s Cut will be slicing its way onto PS Vita on November 6 in North America, and Novemeber 7 in Europe. The title will also feature cross-play between the PS Vita and PlayStation 4 editions. The game is currently available on PS4 and Xbox One.
