SculptrVR Will Let You Get Creative With 3D Objects on PlayStation VR Next Week

Since the debut of VR headsets to the masses, VR has proven not only splendid at delivering a sense of immersion in just games, but also in providing a unique new outlet to explore and get creative, with the upcoming SculptrVR to bring 3D sculpting to PlayStation VR very soon.

Over on the PlayStation Blog, developer Nathan Rowe announced that SculptrVR, a 3D creation tool that allows users to utilize VR for building and manipulating 3D objects in real time, in this case while using the PlayStation VR headset and Move controllers.

Rowe explained in his blog post on the title that the focus of the software is to give users the ability to “create, carve, and share insanely detailed sculptures,” and touted that the software provides up to 10,000x zoom for more precise creation and sculpting.

For those that may be intimidated by the idea of working with 3D sculpture, Rowe added that it takes “about 5-10 minutes” to get accustomed to the tools available in ScultrVR, which is built with giving users the ability to craft insanely detailed sculptures in an accessible and streamlined way.
