Sci-Fi Thriller Downward Spiral: Horus Station Gets Release Dates, Launching on PC First This May

Recently, UK developer 3rd Eye Studios has announced new information about its upcoming indie title Downward Spiral.

According to the press release, Downward Spiral: Horus Station will launch first on Thursday, May 31 for PC. Additionally, if you own an HTC Vive, Oculus Rift, and Windows Mixed Reality headset, you will have the option to play the game in virtual reality for $19.99. While the PlayStation 4 (with optional PlayStation VR support) is slated to launch sometime this summer, with the official launch date yet to be announced.

Downward Spiral: Horus Station is a science-fiction, zero-gravity space adventure. In Downward Spiral, players are tasked with players exploring an abandoned vessel. As you progress through the vacant location, you will unravel the mystery of the space station and why it is drifting away endlessly in space all while fending off the dangers that lurk within. To protect yourself from the forthcoming risks, players will need to utilize the ship’s maintenance hardware, including rail guns, and arc welders to take out threats.

3rd Eye Studios has stated that some of the key selling points for Downward Spiral include are its atmosphere,  environmental storytelling, and 70s-inspired soundtrack composed by Ville Valo.
