A brand new RPG by Bandai Namco, Scarlet Nexus, is set to release on June 25th for PlayStation, Xbox, and PC. With each platform having a different release time for Scarlet Nexus, DualShockers have put all the info you need in one place.
For those that haven’t checked it out already, make sure to watch the official lore trailer for Scarlet Nexus below. The trailer details how the characters came to have their extra-sensory powers. It also gives fans everything they need to know to take on the ‘others’.

Scarlet Nexus
Scarlet Nexus is an upcoming RPG game, published and developed by Bandai Namco. It will release for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Microsoft Windows on June 25th, 2021.
Set in the far distant future, our characters live in a world where a psionic hormone has been discovered inside of the human brain, allowing people to have extra-sensory powers.
Deranged mutants, known as ‘Others’, soon began falling from the sky and attacking everyone in sight. These creatures do not fall to the conventional attack methods, so it’s up to the player to use their unique abilities to take them out and save humanity.
Expected Release Time
As mentioned previously, Scarlet Nexus will release for PlayStation and Xbox consoles, as well as PC. Each platform will likely have a slightly different release time for Scarlet Nexus.
DualShockers have done some digging for each platform and put together the expected release times.
PlayStation
The official PlayStation website doesn’t detail a release time for Scarlet Nexus, but it is common for PlayStation titles to unlock at exactly midnight in your region.
We expect Scarlet Nexus to be available as soon as the clock strikes midnight on June 25th.
Xbox
The official Xbox Store website does give a more accurate release time. According to Microsoft, Scarlet Nexus will be available on June 25th at the following times:
- 5AM (US)
- MIDNIGHT (UK)
PC
According to the official Steam Store Page for Scarlet Nexus, the title will be available on June 24th at the following times:
- 10PM BST
- 2PM PT
- 5PM ET.
