Today, Rockstar Games announced via press release new information regarding Red Dead Redemption 2.
According to the developer, a new trailer for the upcoming game will be available on Wednesday, May 3 at 8 am PST/11 am EST on Rockstar Games’ official website and YouTube channel. Although we have to wait two extra days for a new trailer, Rockstar Games did provide a new piece of key art for the highly anticipated title, which can be seen as the featured image of this article.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is the third installment in the Red Dead series and serves as a prequel to the critically-acclaimed 2010 title Red Dead Redemption. In Red Dead Redemption 2, players control Arthur Morgan an outlaw member of the Dutch van der Linde gang. Much like the first title, Red Dead Redemption 2 is an action-adventure title with Western-themes. Although not much is known about the game’s plot, what we do know is the forthcoming game will feature single and multiplayer elements.
For more information on Red Dead Redemption 2, check out the first trailer, which was unveiled late last year, a slew of new screenshots released earlier this year, as well as the game’s most recent trailer.
Red Dead Redemption 2 is set to be released on October 26 for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One – if you are interested in picking up the title, you can pre-order it now on Amazon.
