During Microsoft’s pre-Gamescom livestream, the house of Xbox and Rare released a new batch of screenshots of the upcoming shared world adventure game Sea of Thieves.
There are just six of them, but they look awesome, showcasing the game’s painterly visuals, its sea, and its lighting in beautiful detail.
You can check out the screenshots below, and if you want to see more, you can also enjoy a video in which the developers talk about the Windows 10 version, another featuring the improvements made to gunplay, one more with some really impressive 4K gameplay, one on riddle quests, one about shipwrecks, one about storms, the gameplay trailer showcased at E3, and a large batch of screenshots and artwork. Of course, you should also read our most recent hands-on preview.
Sea of Thieves will launch in early 2018 for Xbox One, Xbox One X and PC. It was initially supposed to release in 2017, but Rare and Microsoft decided to leave it in the oven a little longer.
