Surprise, surprise! Call of Duty Modern Warfare is PS4’s most downloaded game in the month of November. This is the second month Infinity Ward and Activision’s newest first-person shooter hit the number one spot.
In a post from PlayStation Blog, most of the titles following Call of Duty Modern Warfare were new titles for the month of November. Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Death Stranding, and Need for Speed Heat was ranked 2nd, 3rd, and 4th respectively. Here are the top 20 most downloaded games in November for the PS4:
- Call of Duty Modern Warfare
- Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
- Death Stranding
- Need for Speed Heat
- Grand Theft Auto 5
- NBA 2K20
- EA Sports FIFA 20
- Madden NFL 20
- God f War
- The Outer Worlds
- Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege
- Marvel’s Spider-Man
- Minecraft: PlayStation 4 Edition
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Castle Crashers Remastered
- Days Gone
- EA Sports UFC 3
- Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon Breakpoint
- Assassin’s Creed Odyssey
- Resident Evil 2
Some of these new entries were released in November, like the aforementioned Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, Need for Speed Heat, and Death Stranding. So, it makes sense that those would be somewhere near the top of the list. Even five years after its release, Grand Theft Auto 5 is still in the top 5 most downloaded games. It’s not really a surprise, but I feel like everyone on planet Earth probably owns three copies of this game at this point.
The PlayStation Blog post also listed the most downloaded PS VR, free-to-play, and DLC and Expansions for the month of November. For PS VR, Beat Saber took the top spot. If you couldn’t have guessed, Fortnite is the most downloaded free-to-play game. Lastly, the most downloaded DLC in November was the Fortnite “The Wavebreaker Pack.” You can see the full lists here.
