Obsidian Entertainment and Paradox Interactive unveiled Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition today for PC, Mac, and Linux, which bundles together the critically acclaimed base game, the White March expansions, all the content that was originally exclusive to Pillars of Eternity: Royal Edition, and the new Deadfire Pack DLC, which will hype players up for Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire.
Pillars of Eternity: Definitive Edition will launch digitally on November 15, and will cost $39.99. That means the base version of the game will see its price reduced to $29.99. The new aforementioned Deadfire Pack DLC will also be released for free on that same day to those who already own the base game.
The Deadfire Pack DLC adds new in-game items for players to find and discover, plus new portraits from the upcoming based off of the upcoming sequel, Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire, which was successfully funded on Fig, and set to release sometime in 2018. For those interested in playing the game on consoles, Pillars of Eternity: Complete Editon, which includes the aforementioned White March expansions, is available on PS4 and Xbox One.
