Persona 5 Royal Arrives in the West in March

Ahead of a formal announcement from Atlus, the release date for Persona 5 Royal in western territories has now been revealed.

Thanks to a store page on Amazon, it has been divulged that Persona 5 Royal will launch on March 31, 2020. This is a different date from one that leaked yesterday via the PlayStation Store and was thought to perhaps be game’s release date. Persona 5 Royal joins an already busy slate of releases in March 2020 and will launch alongside other titles in the month such as Final Fantasy VII RemakeDOOM Eternal, and Animal Crossing: New Horizons just to name a few. It’s going to be a busy spring season next year, folks.

Persona 5 Royal will also have a few various editions that fans can purchase as well. The Steelbook Launch Edition is pretty much exactly what it sounds like and comes with a nice-looking steelbook case for the game. The Phantom Thieves Edition, on the other hand, will set you back a bit more money but will also come with an art book, a CD containing the soundtrack, a dynamic PS4 theme, a collector’s case, and a Phantom Thieves that Persona 5’s protagonist Joker wears in the game. It also includes the same steelbook case from the launch edition, as well.

Atlus will likely have more to share on the western release of Persona 5 Royal later today. We’ll share that news with you as soon as it becomes available.
