Bandai Namco revealed some live gameplay for One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 at Jump Festa 2020, which was held on the weekend of December 21-22. This is the first time we see live gameplay for the game. The first gameplay sequence shows the game’s Dramatic Log mode, where iconic One Piece moments are recreated. In particular, it shows the Luffy and the Straw Hats at Enies Lobby, trying to rescue Robin. The second sequence shows some Kaido gameplay, as he’s playable in the game along with Big Mom.
Bandai Namco also published trailers introducing Zoro, Sanji, Usopp, and Nami. Characters in One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 are divided between Power, Speed, and Technic depending on their playstyle. Each trailer also has an alternative version showcasing one of the alternate costumes for the character. You can find everything below.
In its main story mode, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 adapts the Whole Cake Island arc and the Wano Country arc, with the latest having an original ending, seeing Eiichiro Oda is still drawing it in manga form.
Announced back in July 2019, One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is being published by Bandai Namco and is developed by Koei Tecmo and Omega Force, like all Musou games. We previously had a release date trailer, along with the technical differences between each version of the game. We got another trailer at Tokyo Game Show 2019.
One Piece: Pirate Warriors 4 is the first One Piece Musou game since 2015, and it’s coming to all platforms, PC via Steam, PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, on March 27, 2020. You can preorder the game on Amazon to support us.
