Publisher No More Robots announced yesterday that Not Tonight is heading to the Nintendo Switch as a complete edition. The game was originally launched on PC back in 2018 and has seen one DLC introduced as well as an official soundtrack.

Not Tonight: Take Back Control Edition brings the base game to the Nintendo Switch console, as well as the One Love DLC. The game itself is a management simulator in which the player is a bouncer that stands guard outside pubs, clubs, festivals, and parties. It’s the player’s job to check IDs, manage guest lists and stop any violence taking place. Doing so will result in the player being able to upgrade their apartment or character.

The setting is in a post-Brexit version of the UK and is heavy in political satire. The scenery depicts the UK in a worst-case scenario, with fires, and battered streets. It also has a lovely pixel-art theme to it.

The One Love DLC takes a more gentle approach as the extra chapter finds a character called Dave who heads off to France to find true love.

To announce the launch of the Nintendo Switch version of the game, a trailer was released which features numerous talks of Boris Johnson, the Prime Minister of the UK, cut together to create an official announcement from his very mouth.

Not Tonight: Take Back Control Edition will mark No More Robots‘ first Nintendo Switch launch, and is also slated to launch on January 31, the exact day that the UK is to leave the EU and Brexit officially begins. It’s also available on PC, Xbox One, and PS4.
