NIS America is planning two announcements next week. One announcement is coming on March 3, and another will be coming on March 5. This means there are two chances that your favorite Japanese niche visual novel game that only 10 people in the world care about will get localized. “Niche visual novel” is definitely one of the biggest pleonasms in gaming history.

Jokes aside, NIS America also had a special live stream on February 27, revealing Kemono Heroes is now available on Switch. If you haven’t heard of Kemono Heroes, it’s a side-scrolling action game with up to four players coop. Developed by Mad Gear Games, Kemono Heroes was already released on all other current platforms in the past, and now it’s available worldwide on Nintendo Switch. A nice announcement trailer for the game is included how if you’re interested. A lot of gameplay was shown on that stream too.

Furthermore, during that same stream, NIS America’s staff confirmed that none of these two upcoming announcements will be the western release announcement of The Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel IV (timestamp is around 17:00). It could be the western releases of Zero and Ao no Kiseki. It could be something else too. In any case, we’ll tell you then.

As a reminder, if you’re a fan of the Kiseki/Trails series, the PS4 remasters for Zero no Kiseki and Ao no Kiseki are coming in Japan on April 23 and May 28, 2020, respectively. They should be announced in the west at some point as this is one of the reasons why these ports exist in the first place. A brand new game named Hajimari no Kiseki is also releasing in late summer 2020 in Japan. In the west, Trails of Cold Steel III is the latest in the series, available on PS4 and coming to PC on March 23. A Switch version is also coming soon.
