Today Bandai Namco and Level-5 released a brand new trailer of their upcoming JRPG Ni No Kuni II: Reveanant Kingdom.
Alongside the trailer, released to celebrate the presence of the game at Gamescom in Cologne, Germany, we also get a batch of lovely screenshots.
The trailer shows a nice mix of cutscenes and battle gameplay, including the introduction of two new characters, Nerea, the beautiful queen of the land of Thalassea, and Leander, her advisor.
On the other hand, the screenshots give us a glimpse on some interesting aspects of the game: first of all, we see a mode called “Skirmish,” that appears to be linked to the kingdom building feature of the game, and see our heroes lead units on the battlefield.
We also see the city of Goldpaw, another NPC named Boddly, an interesting placed named Capstan Upon Hull (aptly built from the hull of a ship), and a new kimgsmaker dragon, whose name is Brineskimmer.
You can check them all out below. If you want to see more, you can also enjoy the North American special editions, the European ones, a beautiful gameplay video, the E3 trailer, another colorful batch of screenshot alongside more gameplay, and a second gallery of images.
Ni no Kuni II: Revenant Kingdom will be released for PS4 and PC, and its release has been recently delayed to January 19th, 2018.
