Warhammer: Chaosbane has over 25 years of source material to draw from for its story. The upcoming co-op, hack-and-slash action game is focusing on the war between Asavar Kul and Magnus the Pious. This clash between the realms of men and Chaos should make perfect fodder for a great game. Give the full story trailer a look below.

The game picks up after Magnus has defeated Kul. However, the forces of evil do not rest for long and they will be coming quickly for their revenge. In Chaosbane, players will take on the role of one of four heroes of the Old World and join together in the coming fight.

Warhammer: Chaosbane will feature a massive selection of monsters to test your mettle. Thankfully, you’ll have access to a wide array of skills that should help hold the hordes at bay. Of course, if your skill isn’t enough, you can always bring friends along.

The game is optimized for co-op play. You and three of your friends can join forces, locally or online, to form a devastating class synergy that is sure to send the agents of Chaos crying back to their mommies. After players have finished off the story mode, they can also test their skills in a number of end-game modes.

Boss Rush mode lets you farm bosses you’ve already defeated for shiny new loot. Expedition mode gives you a randomly generated map to work your way across. You’ll find fragments throughout the map that you can use to upgrade your gear. Finally, Relic Hunt adds different conditions to those random maps to up the difficulty, along with the gear.

Warhammer: Chaosbane is coming to PC, PS4, and Xbox One on June 4. If you purchase the Digital Deluxe or Magnus Edition, you can play five days earlier on May 31.
