Today, Cloud Imperium Games released a brand new video of its upcoming space simulator Star Citizen.

The video primarily showcases the new group system that will allow players to party up and perform activities together, from quantum jumps to quests.

On top of that, we get to see new facial rigs, new audio tracks designed for derelict ships, new weapons, and more.

Interestingly, the video also includes a lore segment on the Caliban system. And no, it isn’t the home planet of the Dark Angels.

Incidentally, the game also passed just another crowdfunding milestone, adding another million dollars to its growing budget. At the moment of this writing, it’s sitting on $188,086,118 provided by 2,048,404 registered users.

You can check the video out below. If you want to see more, you can check out the latest update on the single-player campaign Squadron 42, and our recent interview with Global Head of Development and Foundry 42 Studio Director Erin Roberts.

For the sake of full disclosure, keep in mind that the author of this article is one of the backers of the game since the times of the original Kickstarter campaign.
