NBA 2K22 update 1.003 is now out and it’s pretty heavy as a Day One update. Let’s check out the details.

Today, NBA 2K22 has been officially launched across all platforms worldwide. While the developers had not warned players about a Day One update, the game received a new update on all platforms a few hours earlier.

Before launching this update, the NBA 2K22 servers went offline for less than an hour, which might be some unscheduled maintenance for the servers and the new update.

NBA 2K22 Update 1.003 Details and File Size

The new update was first spotted on PS5, but now it seems like it’s available across all platforms. The file size of the update is 35 GB on PS5, which is more than one-fourth of the file size of the whole game.

Since this is a Day One update, Visual Concepts might not share the full patch notes for it. However, the update is likely applied to improve the stability and wipe out performance issues, and some bugs. We will add the patch notes here if the developer shares anything regarding the update.

What’s Included In NBA 2K22 Season 1?

Today marks the launch of NBA 2K22 MyTeam Season 1 as well. This season includes Draft and Triple Threat Online The 100 as new modes in MyTeam as well as a King of the New York Carmelo Anthony card and a 93-OVR Kobe Bryant card.

When it comes to MyCareer, the first season brings new Roller Skate Shoes, new Skateboards, two special events, and some new music.

Also, The W mode will receive some badges and VC as rewards in Season 1.

NBA 2K22 is now available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Xbox Series S, Nintendo Switch, Stadia, and PC.
