With Dead Cells leaving Early Access on PC, Mac, and Linux this week, developer Motion Twin shared an awesome animated trailer in anticipation of its release on Tuesday for PS4, Xbox One, and Switch.

The trailer by Bobby Prod perfectly encompasses the tagline “Kill. Die. Learn. Repeat” with the one-eyed fighter upgrading his weapons and skillset each time he ventures out of the castle only to get killed and sent back to try again. It’s enough to give the impression that the game could definitely get an animated series of its own if it wanted to.

Since it was announced back in May that Dead Cells would be exiting Early Access and making its way onto consoles this month, many have been wondering if the game’s physical release would take place at the same time the game will be available for download, and it looks like that will depend on where you live. The game’s physical versions for PS4 and Switch will be released in Asia on the same day that the digital version will drop, but they will be released in Europe on August 17th and in the United States on August 21st.

Check out the animated trailer below, and you can grab Dead Cells out of Xbox One, PS4, and Switch on August 7th.
