Fans have been asking for it and now it has finally happened.

During the Mortal Kombat 11 panel live from C2E2 in Chicago today, NetherRealm Studios announced that the fan-favorite fighter Noob Saibot would indeed be joining the game’s roster. The classic MK character who first appeared in MK2, Noob is back once again after being mission in Mortal Kombat X and he looks vicious.

Along with revealing his inclusion in the game, NetherRealm also released a new gameplay trailer for Noob to show off his moveset. We’ve seen a lot of cool characters in MK11 so far, but I honestly think that Noob might be my favorite of the bunch going purely off of what I’ve watched. He looks so quick and with the use of his shadow doppelganger. I highly encourage you to check out Noob’s gameplay trailer which is attached at the bottom of the page.

While Noob’s addition to Mortal Kombat 11 will surely please fans, NetherRealm wasn’t done making announcements at C2E2 today. Shang Tsung has now been confirmed to be MK11’s first post-launch DLC fighter that will be joining the roster. Shang Tsung, one of the most iconic characters in all of Mortal Kombat is a great addition to MK11, but it’s his character model and voice that makes him even cooler.

Shang Tsung in MK11 is being voiced and modeled after Cary-Hiroyuki Tagawa, the actor who played the character in the Mortal Kombat film. It’s an incredibly cool move for the team at NetherRealm to make and is a really great way to get more interest in purchasing the game’s season pass.

Mortal Kombat 11 continues to look great every time we see it and hopefully it will be just as good once it arrives. Mortal Kombat 11 is set to arrive on April 23 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC.
