Another exciting announcement, another discussion video with the DualShockers staff talking about their thoughts. This time, News Editor Michael Ruiz (me) and Video Manager Mario Rivera discuss the Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath expansion reveal from earlier today. Check out the video below.

In the video, Mario and I discuss our connection with Mortal Kombat as a whole, our opinions on Mortal Kombat 11, and our thoughts on the new additions coming with the expansion. If you missed the announcement, Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath adds a new story campaign, three new characters (Fujin, Sheeva, and RoboCop), new character skins, Friendships, and stages.

You can pre-order the expansion now in a variety of packages. If you never purchased Mortal Kombat 11, you can grab a version that includes the base game, the expansion, and the Kombat Pack for $59.99. Getting the expansion by itself costs $39.99.

Mortal Kombat 11: Aftermath will launch on May 26 for Xbox One, PS4, Switch, PC, and Stadia. The base game and all of the Kombat Pack characters are available now. You can check out my review where I said, “If you like fighting games, Mortal Kombat 11 is a must. NetherRealm Studios continues to create great fighting games with compelling stories, even in the goofiest of video game universes.”
