While the series has been around for quite some time, the upcoming Monster Hunter: World is upping the ante of the beloved Monster Hunter series in ways that players new and old can enjoy for some time to come.

During the opening ceremony of PlayStation Experience 2017, Capcom unveiled a new trailer for Monster Hunter: World, with the trailer highlighting the epic journey and gigantic monsters that players will have to hunt and track down, and to beat impossible odds while doing it.

In addition to the trailer showcasing the story, a nice surprise at the end of the trailer showed that an adorable 8-bit styled Mega Man will be playable in Monster Hunter: World, while various weapons (and even music options) from the series will be integrated into the title.

Previous Capcom series and franchises have made their way into other Monster Hunter games, but Mega Man was a nice surprise to bring into the Monster Hunter fold, and will make for a charming addition to World.

Monster Hunter: World will release for PS4 and Xbox One on January 26th, 2018 and PC at a later date – in the meantime, you can check out the new trailer that debuted at PlayStation Experience below:
