After a few delays, Game Atelier and FDG Entertainment finally released Monster Boy and Cursed Kingdom on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch back in December 2018. The game’s reception was very positive and the game became quite popular within the Nintendo Switch indie scene. Last month, FDG Entertainment even revealed that the Switch version sold at an impressive 8:1 ratio when compared to other platforms.

To entice even more people to pick up that version of Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, it seems that FDG will be releasing a demo on Nintendo Switch soon. The publisher started teasing the idea to their community earlier today, posting a tweet that asks fans to fill in the missing letters of “d_ _ 0”.

While the Tweet has elicited some funny responses like Dino, Dojo, and Divo, the general consensus seems to be that Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is getting a demo. For now, this seems to suggest that a demo would only be available on Nintendo Switch as it is the only platform mentioned in the Tweet’s text and picture.

While it is a shame that players on PS4 and Xbox One may not be able to try out a demo before buying Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom, releasing a demo solely on the most popular platform for the game does make sense. Even though we just have this tease to go by right now, DualShockers will be sure to update the post when FDG Entertainment officially confirms and possibly releases the demo.

Monster Boy and the Cursed Kingdom is currently available on PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. A PC version is also currently in the works and will be released sometime this year. To get a better idea for how the game plays, you can check out the accolades trailer below.
