Marvel’s Spider-Man Gets “Gameplay Launch Trailer” Almost a Month Before Release

Insomniac Games, Marvel's Spider-Man, News, Originals, PS4, Sony Interactive Entertainment

Normally “Launch” trailers are released at launch (that’s why they’re called “launch,” duh!). Yet, lately, we have seen plenty of times in which they’ve been released earlier. Almost a whole month before release is pretty rare, but this seems to be the case with Insomniac Games and Sony’s Marvel’s Spider-Man.

Funnily, for a “gameplay” trailer, it also shows quite a lot of cinematics, but I’m digressing.

The trailer does feature a look at the game’s fantastic swinging, and we see many of the villains and characters that we’ll meet when we’ll finally play the game in September. Among others, there is Silver Sable, Mister Negative, The Kingpin, Rhino on the side of the baddies (even if I’d consider Silver Sable more of a vigilante, I guess), while Aunt May and Miles Morales headline the good guys.

You can check out the trailer below, and see if it gets you excited for September 7th, when the game will come exclusively for PS4.

If you want to learn more about the game, you should check out my hands-on preview, and my impressions on swinging. We also have comments from Bryan Intihar himself, on the possibility of a sequel, Mary Jane, and the Avengers.

The game releases on September 7th exclusively for PS4. You can already pre-order the newly-revealed limited edition PS4 Pro and the game itself on Amazon.
