Your Friendly Neighborhood Spider-Man from Marvel’s Spider-Man will be getting a brand new figurine based off his Advanced Suit design. The figure, priced at a reasonable $84.99, is the first in the Armory Collection Line and is a collaborative effort between SideshowCollectibles and PCS Collectibles.
From the official site: “Marvel’s Spider-Man 1:10 Statue, measuring 7.35’’ tall, features Spider-Man in the Advanced Suit faithfully captured from its in-game model. His suit infuses Super Hero function with modern fashion to make the reinforced padding on his feet look like sneakers. The iconic white spider stretches across his chest and his back, on top of the functional red and blue materials in his new Advanced Suit. Ready to protect Marvel’s New York, Spider-Man clenches his fists, and turns his head straight towards danger.”
It’s a lovely piece that’s sure to enhance any Spider-Man figurine collection. Best of all, it won’t cost you over $1,000 like a certain other gorgeous figurine from the same site. Another new figurine, a new LEGO minifigure based on the Advanced Suit design from Marvel’s Spider-Man, was revealed to be released exclusively during last year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This marks yet another in many avenues that the Advanced Suit has now taken the form, along with its brief appearance in the film Into the Spider-Verse and its debut in actual comic book pages last year.
According to NPD Group’s Mat Piscatella on Twitter, Marvel’s Spider-Man is now the fastest selling superhero game ever within the United States. Before then it was revealed that it had the highest launch month dollar sales for any PlayStation exclusive title.
If you haven’t picked it up yet, Marvel’s Spider-Man is available on Amazon exclusively for PS4.
