Majora’s Mask 3D, Star Fox 64 3D, and Super Mario Maker Join Nintendo Selects Lineup for 3DS

While the Switch might be Nintendo’s most noteworthy handheld offering at the moment, the game publisher is still trying to make it enticing in 2018 to pick up the 3DS.

Nintendo made the proposition of owning a 3DS a bit more enticing today when it announced that three of the system’s most notable titles would be officially joining the Nintendo Selects program. For those unaware, Nintendo Selects is the 3DS’ version of a sort of “best-sellers” list. Nintendo periodically adds some of the most popular releases on the console to this program which then permanently knocks the price down to that of $19.99.

The three games that Nintendo announced would be joining the Selects lineup is The Legend of Zelda: Majora’s Mask 3DStarFox 64 3D, and Super Mario Maker. These three make up a rather compelling group of games, genre-wise, with an adventure game in Majora’s Mask, a platforming title in Super Mario Maker, and an arcade shooter with StarFox 64 3D. If you haven’t played any of these before, now seems like the perfect time to jump in.

These three titles will be joining the Nintendo Selects lineup on February 4, so you have a few more weeks left until their prices drop.
