While the latter two portions of the Mafia Trilogy are available for download on modern hardware right now, the first installment, the remake of the original Mafia, isn’t set to launch until later this summer. To make that wait just a little bit more tolerable, Hangar 13 and 2K Games today released a brief new trailer showing off the game in action.

Revealed as part of the PC Gaming Show, the latest video for Mafia: Definitive Edition opted to show off more of the title’s narrative rather than actual gameplay. While only about one minute in length, the new trailer highlights the gorgeous new visuals that come with this remake. Not only do the graphics look fantastic though, but the performances also seem to be quite solid as well.

This also marks the first extended look we’ve gotten of Mafia: Definitive Edition since it was announced last month. Considering the game is out so soon, and that this trailer is labeled as being the first in a string of new narrative videos, you’d imagine we’ll be seeing a whole lot more in the near future.

You can check out the new trailer for the remake of Mafia down below. As mentioned, Mafia II: Definitive Edition and Mafia III: Definitive Edition are available to snag now. However, it’s worth noting that we weren’t impressed by Mafia II’s newest iteration, unfortunately, meaning you may want to just hold off until the remake of the first game drops.

Mafia: Definitive Edition will land on PC, Xbox One, and PS4 later this year on August 28.
