The third entry in the Lucius series, Lucius 3, will be arriving on Steam this December for players to torment others as the spawn of Satan once again. The first title was a hit, circulating around YouTube with funny clips from large YouTubers of gruesome murders and creepy plot points.
The second game was… well, let’s not talk about that one. Hopefully, Lucius 3 (III) can fill the hole for “mass murder while playing as the Devil’s son” that I so desperately have right now. Yes, I’m okay.
In a press release, developer Shiver Games announced that Lucius 3 will be coming to Steam on December 13th, 2018. It will be priced at a low $19.99 USD. The release also states that the game “will also be available through other various digital platforms upon release”.
“[Lucius 3] returns to its roots in terms of both gameplay and story. The game will play as a narrative adventure, focused around the atmospheric little town of Winter Hill – the very same town where Lucius spent his first six years.”
Luckily, the developers have stated that the signature murders will be making a return, in their fully grotesque fashion – however, “there will be some heartfelt moments of regret and sorrow.” We’ll have to see what that entails.
I guess being the spawn of Satan but also the child of a human family does things to your brain. We’ll have to see for ourselves when the game hits Steam on December 13th. You can view the announcement trailer from earlier this year below.
