Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds, News, Nintendo, Originals, Platforms, Semisoft Studios, Switch

According to the official Legrand Legacy Twitter account, Semisoft Studios plans on bringing their fresh take on classic RPGs to the Nintendo Switch sometime before the end of the year.

Back in November, the team announced that it would be bringing the game to all platforms. While the Switch version is planned for this year, the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game are still planned for a 2019 release. Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds arrived last week on January 24 and DualShockers’ very own Azario Lopez got the chance to review the game on PC.

If you’re not familiar with Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds, it’s an RPG with a turn-based battle system that’s reminiscent of Legend of Dragoon. The title takes place during a feud between two kingdoms, Fandor and Altea. The protagonist, a captured boy named Finn, is left with amnesia and possesses a hidden power that’s beyond his control.

The title features an immersive world for players to explore, lots of crafting opportunities, loot to find, an original soundtrack, and 3D cinematics. Legrand Legacy: Tale of the Fatebounds is available right now on PC. You can expect the Switch version to drop later this year with the PS4 and Xbox One versions following sometime in 2019.
