While most fans are waiting for Sony to release more concrete PS5 details, the company continues to put an emphasis on PS4 marketing. And with new ads like the one Sony released today, you can see why. Their latest 30-second spot shows off some of the great games coming in 2020 while highlighting one of 2019’s finest games. Unless you’re waiting for it to undoubtedly screen during the Super Bowl or something, give it a watch below.

The trailer starts with a few good shots from The Last of Us Part 2. The first shot featuring Ellie outside of a decaying city is particularly excellent. We also see a quick glimpse of Joel before moving onto the next game, Ghost of Tsushima. This is a quick spot that doesn’t show much, but Sucker Punch’s samurai simulator continues to look incredible. Of the games featured in this ad, Ghost is the one I’m m0st excited for.

Next up is Final Fantasy VII Remake, which, like most 2020 games, has been in the news lately for getting hit with a delay. That said, the game continues to look like exactly what fans of the original want. The trailer ends with a quick Death Stranding sequence. Kojima’s latest was one of the best games from last year, so it makes sense to feature it here.

This PS4 ad spot is a great example of quality marketing. That said, it’s far from what people want to see right now. Hopefully, this is one of Sony’s last efforts before they start spinning up the wheels of the PS5 hype machine. When we get more news about the upcoming console, DualShockers will be sure to share.
