Square Enix updated the Kingdom Hearts 3 Japanese official site with new details and screenshots of the Kingdom Hearts 3 Remind DLC. As such, we now have official details regarding the Premium Menu, the Slideshow Function and the Data Greeting function, three new additions we heard bits about in the past.  We translated all that below so let’s take a look. The English Kingdom Hearts Twitter also published English screenshots of the Premium Menu.

The Data Greeting function lets players select characters, a location, and take screenshots. You can custom the characters’ appearance in great detail, changing their facial expression, angles or poses.

The Slideshow Function lets players make an album of photos they took, and you can pick which music to play too.

Next, we have the Premium Menu and its Black Code function, named Pro Codes in English. This lets you try out self-imposed challenges like being unable to use items, no magic, having zero defense, etc. The Japanese official site also explains how this function has a Rank, and defeating specific bosses nets you with points that make you rank up.

Square Enix also published new screenshots showing Sora using the Double Form and the Keyblades Oathkeeper and Oblivion. These will be added via free patch 1.07, launching alongside the Remind DLC. This patch also adds a main story update, new abilities, and an expansion of the sharing features.

Players who buy early the Kingdom Hearts 3 Remind DLC in Japan will also receive this PS4 Theme with Sora and Kairi, drawn by Tetsuya Nomura. As far as I know, it’s currently unclear how this PS4 Theme will be distributed outside Japan.

You can read more about the DLC’s content in a past article. We also translated the previous details on playable characters Square Enix published when the official site got previously updated. The Remind DLC launches in three days, so in the meanwhile, you can read the story hints Tetsuya Nomura shared in the past through interviews we translated.

Kingdom Hearts 3 Remind DLC launches in three days on January 23 on PlayStation 4. The DLC will be available a month later on February 25 on Xbox One.
