When it released in 2018, we gave Kingdom Come: Deliverance a 6/10, saying the game was “A captivating, but ultimately uneven experience.” Personally, I loved my time with the game, but even over the past two years, it’s managed to only get better. After releasing a series of interesting add-ons and a number of patches to work out the game’s kinks, this title from Warhorse Studios is one of my favorite Western RPGs in recent memory. It seems I’m not the only one who thinks so, as Kingdom Come: Deliverance is celebrating its milestone of three million purchases with a free weekend on Steam.
This deal runs through this weekend, ending around 4pm EST. Until then, you’ll not only be able to play Kingdom Come: Deliverance for free, but you’ll also be able to get it for cheap. In case you missed the game when it was free on the Epic Games Store, or you just hate the platform, this is a great opportunity to pick up a time-eating RPG. The base game is currently going for $14.99, while the Kingdom Come: Deliverance Collection bundle is going for a mere $15.77, less than a buck more than the base game.

That makes this weekend a great time to dip your toes into the world of medieval Bohemia and see how you like it. Trot around the world’s vast plains and bustling cities while fighting off bandits and thieves with authentic sword fighting techniques.
