Just like many other games in Bandai Namco’s lineup over the past few years, the 2019 release of Jump Force is soon finally heading to the Nintendo Switch. As of today, we now know the specific date to circle on the calendar for its arrival, too.

Revealed alongside a new trailer, Jump Force is set to land on Switch in a little over two months on August 28, 2020. The version of the game that’s heading to the handheld hybrid console is that of the Deluxe Edition, meaning that DLC characters that were released as part of the Season 1 pass will be coming included from the start.

To go along with this release date reveal, Bandai Namco also released a trailer for Jump Force on Switch that gave us a pretty extensive glimpse at how the game will run on the platform. Visually, it’s obviously of a less quality compared to other iterations of the game, but all in all, it honestly doesn’t look too bad. Hopefully, the final version will run as well as what we can see in this video.

We reviewed the original version of Jump Force when it came to PS4, Xbox One, and PC and were left a bit disappointed by it. While the game’s extensive roster made for some truly insane crossover bouts that you could partake in, the combat itself was a bit lackluster. Overall, it was just a bit too straightforward and didn’t feel like it made good on the expansive roster that the title boasts. Perhaps, however, the latest installment of the game here on Switch will be a bit better.

So do you have any interest in picking up Jump Force here on the Switch? Let us know down in the comments.
