It’s date was announced earlier this week and now it’s officially here! Visualnoveler upcoming JRPG, Destiny Chronicles, is now on Kickstarter.

The crowdfunding effort for Destiny Chronicles has an initial goal set for about $40,000. As of writing this article, the campaign has so far raised $10,314. The Kickstarter campaign will last until November 3, 2017.

About a week ago, we learned that Destiny Chronicles would not be launching on the PlayStation Vita as had been previously expected. The Nintendo Switch was decided to be replacing the platform. The developer states that it could not “in good faith” list the PlayStation Vita as a potential platform for the game’s Kickstarter due to optimization concerns. However, the team does still want to see the game on Vita, so it’s considering the idea for the future, but won’t “make any promises.”

Destiny Chronicles has been announced for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC. It follows main character Celeste as she strives to become a “true knight.” When she and her companions begin pursuit of a thief, they soon learn of an evil plot and vow to stop it. The game claims influences from Kingdom Hearts and aims to establish a humorous-yet-compelling story.
