The weird physics focused puzzler Human: Fall Flat which features sticky-handed drunken characters is heading to mobile devices after Curve Digital and 505 Games join forces. The mobile version of the title is currently in development with no release date set as of yet.

Human: Fall Flat has done fairly well since launch and is now not only available on PC, but PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch. Since it launched in 2016 as a single-player only title, the game has since sold over 4 million copies globally.

At least, that was the count in June last year. In the press release today Dominic Wheatley, the CEO of Curve Digital stated that the game has sold over 5 million copies now across all available platforms.

If you’re unsure what the game is, you play as Bob, or various other characters, as you try and navigate through puzzling 3D worlds, pressing buttons, grabbing barrels, and more. Multiplayer features allow you to team up with friends to overcome the challenges or hinder the other players if you’re a bit evil.

The mobile port of No Brakes Games’ Human: Fall Flat is being done by Codeglue, the developers responsible for the original Terraria mobile ports. President of 505 Games, Neil Ralley said that they want to bring one of Curve Digital’s “major IPs to an even broader audience”.

He also states that “we know how to optimise PC and console games to play on touch screens and ensure that the gameplay inputs and user interfaces are as intuitive as they are on other platforms.”

Essentially we should be seeing Human: Fall Flat being as playable as it is on current platforms. I do however wonder how the multiplayer will work. Originally Human: Fall Flat used Steam’s features to allow multiplayer for PC users, but an update last year saw multiplayer arrive for PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch, with a major update landing last year for the Switch’s version.

While no official platforms have been announced for the mobile ports, I think it’s safe to say we’ll see the game arriving on iOS and Android. Human: Fall Flat is currently available on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch.
