Certain doors in The Ascent are covered with ICE. These doors have some of the best loot behind them, so it is quite crucial to get past these. The ICE doors have a level attached to them, ranging from 1 to 3. The higher the level, the harder it is to break through them.
How to unlock ICE doors in The Ascent?
The only way to unlock ICE doors is by getting Cyberdeck Upgrades in the Ascent. These Cyberdeck upgrades aren’t obtained by skill points or anything, but instead, you find the upgrades scattered across the game’s world. By the time you come across a higher level of ICE doors, you will already find the respective Cyberdeck upgrades near the area.
If you haven’t found them already, exploring the area will definitely lead you to the Cyberdeck upgrade. Once you have the upgrade, it gets automatically equipped and you can use the hack button to unlock the respective level of the ICE door.
