The Hitman Halloween Pack will be free for a limited time starting at 6:00 P.M. CEST on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.
This new add-on to Hitman takes place on the Colorado map and will give you access to the map and everything available with it for a limited time, though no end date has been given for when it will no longer be available. This content includes the “Freedom Fighters” mission (a callback to IO’s 2003 shooter), all Escalation and Featured Contracts and use Contract Mode to create your own Contracts.
On top of giving you access to Colorado players will also receive 10 Featured Contracts that are in tune with the Halloween spirit. These were created to be fun contracts and some focus on disguises, such as the scarecrow seen in the trailer, as well as telling spooky stories or just causing mayhem. While the ability to access Colorado only lasts for the free period, save progress will transfer to the full game should you choose to purchase it. The Hitman Game of the Year Edition is currently available for $59.99 and includes every location, the Patient Zero bonus campaign, new contracts, outfits and weapons. The base version of Hitman is free but only features the first two story missions.
Colorado’s map is an isolated militia camp in which every location is off-limits to Agent 47 undisguised. Even once you obtain a disguise there is no universal access as every type of personnel has at least one off-limits area. The Hitman Halloween Pack adds content on top of the already existing including the campaign mission, Escalation Contracts, 20 levels of location mastery, 80+ challenges, as well as full access to everything included in the ‘ICA Facility’ location.
A once placid farm compound has been converted into a militia training camp and base of operations, under the watchful gaze of a nearby scarecrow. Legend tells the tale, that whoever wears it’s garments, and fulfills it’s bell clanging desires, gains hellish flames that consume their enemies.
Yet only those who wield the right tools, can obtain it.
