Today Bandai Namco announced that God Eater 3 will showcase a new feature named “Assault Mission.”

This feature lets players engage in eight-player co-op, which is twice as many players as what the series allowed before, with its traditional four-player co-op.

We also get a video showing the development team fighting against an Ash Aaragami in the Assault Mission mode. Incidentally, we also see a few examples of customized player characters, showing the wide range of options that we’ll get to enjoy when the game releases.

Incidentally, we learn that the mode will be playable in the demo that was released today on the Japanese PlayStation Store, but only on October 20th and October 21st.

You can enjoy the gameplay below.
